A number that uniquely identifies a unit (not available if Part Type is From Inventory

Trouble Part No.

Number that identifies the part which caused the failure.

Only one trouble part per claim is allowed.

System code, corresponding to the product & model combination for the unit currently entered in Serial No. field.

If the value is typed in, its description will not appear. The description will be displayed only when the claim is verified or submitted.

A code that briefly describes what the cause of the failure is.

This field can be filled by typing the desired value or can be selected from the lookup list by clicking on the button () next to the field.

The line under the trouble part displays its description once the claim is verified or submitted. If the part number entered is invalid then an error message is displayed.

Indicates the line number. Used for reference only.
