Unit Information Serial Number A number that uniquely identifies a unit.

Unit Information Unit Usage A code representing the usage of the product.
Mandatory
 This is a drop down selection field with a list of all available valid entries.
Unit Information Delivery Date The date the unit was delivered to the customer.

 Note: The system will verify that the delivery date is less than or equal to the current date and greater than or equal to the sale date if any.

It is strongly recommended that you use the calendar tool to enter all your dates.

Owner Information
Owner Type

Identifies the type of owner.

To answer the question, there are two check circles. With the mouse, position the arrow on the desired circle corresponding to the customer's situation and click to mark the circle with a "•".

When you select Company, it is normal that you cannot enter information in the following fields: Last Name, First Name and Initial. Of course the opposite is also true, if you select Individual, it is normal that you cannot enter information in the following field: Company Name.
Owner Information
Last Name

The last name of the owner/purchaser.
Mandatory
For a usage code of Demonstrator, the dealer's business name from the dealer profile will automatically be displayed in this field.
Owner Information First Name The first name of the owner/purchaser.   This field is optional for any usage code other than personal/recreational.
Owner Information Initial An optional field for the middle initial of the owner/purchaser.   Only an alphanumeric character is allowed in this field. If no first name is entered then the middle initial is not allowed.
Owner Information Company Name The name of the Company buying the product.    
Owner Information Address The address of the owner/purchaser.    
Owner Information P.O. Box An optional entry field for the post office box number.

Owner Information Country The country of the owner/purchaser.

This selection list of country works two different ways :

  1. A default country is generated by the system based on the country of the dealer registering the unit.

  2. It can be used as a pull down selection list, which gives three choices : Canada, USA and International.
  • If Canada is selected, the possible provinces are loaded into the Prov/State field.

  • If USA is selected, the possible states are loaded into the Prov/State field.

  • If International is selected, the possible countries are loaded into the Country field and the Prov/State field is protected since only the country is mandatory in this case.
Owner Information Province/State The province or state of the owner/purchaser if not international.   The selection list of Prov/State works two different ways :
  1. A default province or state is generated by the system based on the country of the dealer registering the unit, unless it is an international country, then the prov/state field is left blank and protected.
  2. If the value needs to be changed, just choose the right one in the pull down selections.
Owner Information Zip/Postal Code The zip/postal code of the owner/purchaser.   This field needs to be entered with the exact country format.

Ex. for Canada : J1H 2B8
Owner Information E-mail The Electronic mail address of the owner.

Owner Information Phone An optional entry field for the phone number of the owner/purchaser.

Owner Information Correspondence This is a drop down selection list of available languages for correspondence with the owner/purchaser.

Owner Information Survey The Warranty Unit Registration Customer Survey check area allows the user to identify owners purchasing trends for their new unit and to submit this marketing information along with the Warranty Unit Registration.
